Meet Our Team

Dusty has served at Kellum Baptist Church since 2006 as a pastor in our church. Over the last 15 years God has done incredible things within the church and the student ministry. Dusty is married to Jessica, and they have two amazing children. Dusty was born in Baton Rouge, LA where he lived until he was ten. He then moved to Northern Virginia where he lived for 6 years before moving to Jacksonville, NC. Dusty holds an Associate degree in Business Administration from Coastal Carolina Community College, a Bachelor of Religion from Liberty University, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry Leadership, a Master of Religious Education both from Liberty University Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate of Christian Ministry Leadership. Dusty has a passion and calling to minister to our families while also serving and leading in our church leadership.  Dusty enjoys being highly involved in our community. He loves to spend time serving in ministry and investing in lives. He loves high school and college football, loves coaching his kids’ soccer teams and loves being able to serve Christ and His church with his wife and kids.
