Embracing. Teaching. Partnering.
To partner with families to lead children from birth to fifth grade into an ever learning and ever growing relationship with Christ, and one that is life changing.
“Follow my example as I follow the example of Christ.”
1 Corinthians 11:1
Our goal is to work with families by teaching, encouraging, building and growing the children of Kellum.
We do this by embracing them first with love. Our children need to see and feel love each time they enter our church. We teach them God’s Word starting when they are young. We do this by being creative in the way that we teach the bible in a way that they can understand it. We also partner with parents to lay down the building blocks of their biblical knowledge & ensure biblical teaching is also happening in the home. We encourage and help our children grow by helping them to apply the bible to their life. As our children grow, they are slowly becoming disciples of Christ.
AKA Kid’s Worship; for children ages 4 through 4th grade
Children’s Church happens during the 11 am Sunday morning service only.
Bring your child(ren) with you to worship. During the first few minutes of the service, you’ll see KB Kids pop up on the screen and all the children will run down to the front of the church!
We go to the Fellowship Hall for Kid’s Worship. This is the white building on the opposite side of the old sanctuary. You’ll pick up your child(ren) from this building immediately following the service.
Sunday School: 10 am – 11 am
Children meet in the rooms on the second floor of the old sanctuary building. Enter in the door nearest the handicapped parking between the new and old sanctuaries and head up the stairs. The first room is 4 years through kindergarten. As you walk down the hallway, the ages go up. Feel free to ask for help!
